Building contractor FSG needed a place to gather, as their team members spend most of their work hours on construction sites. We designed an office for temporary work and meetings, still endowed with a feeling of homecoming.
FSG chose this centrally located 19th century apartment to reduce travel time and attract new talent. As the original space was a tangle of service ducts and previous alterations, our initial focus was on uncovering the original woodwork and stucco ceilings. We also added a selection of new fittings and bespoke furniture. The specially designed floor mat pattern is a nod to the existing parquet flooring. The circular shape is used throughout the project for tables, lighting and handles.
